Welcome to Value Plus Kuwait. These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our car rental services and website at valuepluskw.com. By accessing our website or using our services, you agree to be bound by these terms.

1. Definitions

“Company,” “We,” “Us,” “Our” refers to Value Plus Kuwait, located at Ardiya, P.O. Box 760, Dasman 15458, Kuwait.
“Customer,” “You,” “Your” refers to the individual or entity renting a vehicle from us.
“Vehicle” refers to any car, SUV, or commercial vehicle rented from Value Plus Kuwait.
“Rental Agreement” refers to the contract signed at the time of vehicle rental.
“Services” refers to car rental, chauffeur-driven services, corporate rentals, and emergency services.

2. Eligibility Requirements

2.1 Driver Requirements

To rent a vehicle from Value Plus Kuwait, you must:

Be at least 21 years of age (25 years for certain vehicle categories)
Hold a valid driver’s license recognized in Kuwait
Provide a valid civil ID or passport
Present a valid credit or debit card in your name
Meet our insurance requirements

3. Booking and Reservations

3.1 Making a Booking

Bookings can be made through our website, via WhatsApp at (+965) 9971 1954, or in person at our office. All bookings are subject to vehicle availability.

3.2 Confirmation

A booking is considered confirmed only upon receipt of written confirmation from us via email or WhatsApp. We reserve the right to decline any booking at our discretion.

3.3 Payment

Full payment or an authorized deposit must be completed at the time of vehicle collection. We accept cash, credit cards, and bank transfers. A payment link can also be arranged upon request.

4. RENTAL TERMS

4.1 Rental Period

The rental period begins when you take possession of the vehicle and ends when the vehicle is returned to our designated location and accepted by our staff. Late returns may incur additional charges.

4.2 Extensions

If you wish to extend your rental period, you must contact us before the original return date. Extensions are subject to vehicle availability and additional charges.

4.3 Mileage

Rental rates may include unlimited or limited mileage. Exceeding the mileage limit will result in additional charges as specified in your rental agreement.

5. Vehicle Use and Restrictions

5.1 Permitted Use

The vehicle may only be used for lawful purposes on properly maintained roads within Kuwait unless otherwise agreed in writing.

5.2 Prohibited Use

You agree NOT to:

Use the vehicle for racing, testing, or any competitive driving
Use the vehicle while under the influence of alcohol or drugs
Allow unauthorized persons to drive the vehicle
Use the vehicle to carry passengers or goods for hire
Use the vehicle to transport illegal substances or contraband
Drive the vehicle off-road or on unpaved surfaces
Use the vehicle outside Kuwait without prior written permission
Smoke in the vehicle
Transport pets without prior approval
Exceed the vehicle’s passenger or load capacity

6. Insurance and Liability

6.1 Insurance Coverage

All vehicles are covered by comprehensive insurance as required by Kuwaiti law. The insurance policy details, including coverage limits and exclusions, will be provided in your rental agreement.

6.2 Customer Liability

You are responsible for:

Damage to the vehicle caused by your negligence or violation of these terms
All fines, penalties, and traffic violations incurred during the rental period
Loss or damage to vehicle keys, documents, or accessories
Damage caused by driving under the influence
Damage occurring while the vehicle is used in violation of these terms

6.3 Excess/Deductible

In case of damage or theft, you are responsible for paying the excess amount specified in your rental agreement, unless you have purchased additional coverage to reduce or eliminate this excess.

7. Customer Responsibilities

7.1 Vehicle Condition

You must inspect the vehicle before accepting it and report any pre-existing damage to our staff. You are responsible for returning the vehicle in the same condition, allowing for normal wear and tear.

7.2 Maintenance

You must maintain proper fluid levels and tire pressure during the rental period. Any mechanical issues must be reported to us immediately.

7.3 Security

You must take reasonable precautions to protect the vehicle from theft or damage, including locking the vehicle when unattended and parking in safe locations.

7.4 Fuel Policy

Unless otherwise specified, the vehicle should be returned with the same fuel level as when rented. Failure to do so will result in refueling charges plus an administrative fee.

8. Accidents and Breakdowns

8.1 Accidents

In case of an accident, you must:

Contact the police immediately and obtain an accident report
Notify Value Plus Kuwait as soon as possible at (+965) 997-11954
Not admit liability or make any agreements with third parties
Provide us with all relevant documentation and information
Cooperate fully with our insurance company

8.2 Breakdowns

If the vehicle breaks down due to mechanical failure (not caused by your misuse), contact us immediately. We will arrange for repair or replacement. You are not responsible for mechanical breakdowns unless caused by your negligence.

9. Cancellation and Refunds

9.1 Cancellation by Customer

Cancellations made 48 hours or more before the rental start time: Full refund
Cancellations made 24-48 hours before rental: 50% refund
Cancellations made less than 24 hours before rental: No refund
No-shows: No refund

9.2 Cancellation by Company

We reserve the right to cancel any booking due to vehicle unavailability or other circumstances beyond our control. In such cases, we will provide a full refund or offer an alternative vehicle of similar or higher category at no extra cost.

10. Chauffeur-Driven Services

When using our chauffeur-driven service:

The chauffeur remains an employee of Value Plus Kuwait at all times
You may not direct the chauffeur to violate traffic laws or these terms
Tips are appreciated but not mandatory
Chauffeur working hours and rates will be specified in your service agreement
You are responsible for treating the chauffeur with respect and dignity

11. Corporate Rentals

Corporate clients may be eligible for special terms, including:

Monthly billing arrangements
Volume discounts
Dedicated account management
Flexible rental terms

Corporate rental terms are subject to a separate agreement and credit approval.

12. Privacy and Data Protection

We collect and process your personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy, available at valuepluskw.com/privacy-policy. By using our services, you consent to such collection and processing.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of our services
Our total liability shall not exceed the total rental fees paid by you
We are not responsible for personal belongings left in the vehicle
We are not liable for delays or failures due to circumstances beyond our control

14. Force Majeure

We are not liable for failure to perform our obligations due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, war, terrorism, strikes, government actions, or pandemic situations.

15. Amendments

We reserve the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting on our website. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.

16. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Kuwait. Any disputes arising from these terms or the use of our services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Kuwait.

17. Severability

If any provision of these Terms and Conditions is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.

18. Entire Agreement

These Terms and Conditions, together with your rental agreement and our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Value Plus Kuwait regarding the use of our services.
